For me personally October is a slow music month. Which is fine, because it will allow me time to catch up on some of the dope albums that came out this Summer and such. October though isn’t slowing down with releases as EVERYBODY will begin dropping their Christmas albums. I plan to only purchase one Christmas album and it was released years ago, LOL!! Anyhoo, here’s some albums to keep your eye on this month, get ready to TURN UP THE MUSIC for October!!!

Canton Jones- Kingdom Business Vol. 4 – CAJO Records: After dropping the “All Day Jesus” free album (which served more as an extended promo for Erica Cumbo’s “Beauty For Ashes”), Canton Jones keep the ball rolling with his label and entourage of talented artists. This will be a nice album so make sure you get it!
Freddy Washington- The Jesus Record – Indie: Earlier in the year, Freddy dropped Part 1 of this album as a free download. So, I’m guessing that this will be part two. More on the CCM (contemporary christian music) side of things Part 1 of the Jesus Record came as a shock to me in styling, but I kind of like it. So, I’ll check out Part 2, and you should too!

Canon – Loose Canon EP Volume 1 – Reflection Music Group: Just Get It!! I’ve really grown to like Canon and his wild style! This dude is super talented, knows who he is in Christ and in music. Canon isn’t afraid to step outside of the lines of the norm, I don’t think he ever really was there! As RMG grows I’m excited about their future and can’t wait to hear Loose Canon. It’s a fresh break from what’s out now!
George Moss – It’s Time – Dreamlight Entertainment: It’s been a minute since I’ve heard from George Moss. The last song I jammed was Go Hard or Go Home. He’s released a single called “Down 4 You” and it’s pretty dope too! So I’ll be looking forward to hearing this latest album.

Lisa Page Brooks- Better Than Life - Habakkuk Music: I love her voice! Better Than Life, the single is a wonderful ballad, giving thanks to God for all He’s done to keep us. This will be Lisa’s fourth solo CD, so make sure you pick it up!!
