Today, Bishop Larry Trotter (Senior Pastor of Sweet Holy Spirit Church, Chicago, IL) received the Chicago Public Schools’ Lifetime Achievement Award. The ceremony was held at Greater Harvest Church in Chicago, IL and Bishop Trotter was honored to receive such a special recognition for his efforts in mentoring the youth of the Chicago-land area. Bishop Trotter is a product of the Chicago Public school system having attended Daniel Hale Williams Elementary School and Lindblom Technical High School.
In addition to his very successful musical career with the Sweet Holy Spirit Choir, with songs like “Don’t Last”,” The Lord Is Blessing Me”, “It’s Only A Test”, “My Worship Is For Real” and more, Bishop Larry Trotter has had ups and downs and has recently shared those moments in his latest book “Living Above SEE Level.” Stay tuned to I CHOOSE GOSPEL as I had the opportunity to talk with him about those experiences and how one can rise Above SEE Level.
