Charles Jenkins and Fellowship Chicago The Best of Both Worlds Debuts At #1

(Chicago, IL – June 20, 2012) – Inspired People/EMI Gospel recording artist Charles Jenkins and Fellowship Chicago’s debut album, The Best of Both Worlds debuts at #1 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart and the hit praise and worship anthem, “Awesome” remains at #1 on Billboard’s Hot Gospel Songs chart.  The Best of Both Worlds also enters at #41 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart.  Jenkins is a GRAMMY® Award-winning songwriter, and the writer of “Awesome.”  The Best of Both Worlds, which was released on Jenkins’ newly formed independent label, Inspired People, is the first #1 debut by a new artist this year.

I am very happy for Pastor Charles Jenkins and the Fellowship Choir.  The album is great, filled with an awesome blend of traditional and contemporary sounds. Truly the album lives up to its title!  My favorite tracks are “Awesome”, “Days of Elijah”, “I Will Live” and “Releasing My Faith ft. Karen Clark Sheard”  and the reprise!!! WOW!  This whole album leaves you feeling good! It has something for everyone.  Get the album out now available everywhere!

I truly have to THANK Pastor Jenkins, Fellowship Chicago and their FANS, because had it not been for them, I CHOOSE GOSPEL would not be on the climb like it is now!  Check out some of the blog posts and a special interview I had the honor to do with Pastor Jenkins.  Congrats again!!
