It is true that Jesus Christ the Lord, was sent to this earth to die for YOU!  Here I just want to simply take you through Gods plan of salvation.  It’s as easy as ABC!

A – Admit

Admit what you have done wrong and ask forgiveness. We are separated from God because of our sin, and we need to be reconciled back to God, through His son Jesus Christ if we want to go to heaven.
Romans 3:23 All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 6:23 The wages of sin is death.1 John 1:9  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

B – Believe

Believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose again as a payment for your sins. No one can come to God but through Jesus Christ, He paid the ultimate sacrifice so that we wouldn’t have to do so, He died, so that we could live, but you have to believe!!

John 3:16  For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4  Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.

Romans 5:8  But God demonstrates His own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

C – Confess and Choose

Confess and choose to allow God to the be in charge of your life. Confession with the mouth and a belief in your heart is all it takes!

Matthew 16:24  Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Romans 10:9  If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Romans 10:13  Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

You can simply say this prayer if you want to be saved and accepted into your rightful place as Gods child, and heir to the heavenly Kingdom:

“Dear Lord, I realize and confess that I am a sinner, I am separated from you and need to be saved.  I repent now of all of my sins and ask you to forgive me and come into my heart and save me.  I believe that Jesus is the Son of God, sent to pay the price for my sin and died on the cross to set me free and to reconcile me back to you God.  I believe that you God raised Jesus from the dead three days later and that He sits at the right hand of your throne.  Come into my heart Jesus and save my soul. I make you Lord of my life and my God. Thank you for the shedding of your blood Jesus to save me.  In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

It’s that simple you are now reconciled back to Christ with the promise to live eternally with Him in heaven, because you made the choice to accept His plan of salvation!  Next steps, look to join a local church, you will need to pray and ask God where He wants you to join.  Church is important, because though salvation is a personal choice, the support of a church ministry will aid your faith walk tremendously.  Next start reading your bible, I would say to start with the book of John and then the book of James are good places to start.  And pray constantly and daily, just talk to God, there’s no right or wrong way to pray, just say what’s on your heart! I hope this helps, please feel free to comment and/or ask questions!
